Career Experience
For the past four years, I have enjoyed tutoring college essay writing, which has spanned most subject areas and has included a variety of essay styles such as personal narratives, rhetorical analyses, and dissertations. Serving as group editor during graduate school honed my writing skills and gave me experience developing both academic and career projects such as business plans, resumes, and professional correspondence. For several years, I taught speech and language to K-12 students, so my career has encompassed language learning at every level from elementary to doctoral students. Teaching has given me a strong foundation for tutoring and a lifelong passion for language learning, which I enjoy sharing with others.
I Love Tutoring Because
with every assignment, I gain new knowledge from my students, which gives me an even greater passion for tutoring because I love to learn just as much as I love to teach. Most of all, I love helping others reach their academic and career goals. I, also, feel a sense of accomplishment when my students share outstanding feedback from professors, after feeling like they could not understand the assignment at the beginning of our sessions. Especially, I enjoy the most challenging assignments and love to instill confidence and a passion for writing in others.
