Career Experience
During my undergraduate studies, I worked as a lab assistant in a research lab studying Kaposi's sarcoma-associated herpesvirus (KSHV). Following graduation, I worked as a pharmacist for five years. As a pharmacist, I helped patients better understand their medications and diagnoses. Additionally, I assisted them with their health insurance problems. After that, I decided to go back to school. For the last three years I have worked as a software engineer in front-end web app development.
I Love Tutoring Because
I love learning! And I love helping others grow to love learning as well! I know anyone can learn anything. But everyone learns at different speeds and in different ways. So your journey may look different from a friend's or sibling's. The key is to take it slow and make sure you master each step before moving on to the next. When you are learning a subject conceptually, step by step, you are no longer simply memorizing. Instead, you are now mastering the subject. I love seeing the "Aha!" moment when I've helped someone overcome a particularly tricky block they've been on. And I love helping people make the shift from simple memorization to true learning.
