Career Experience
My teaching career began when I founded an English as a Foreign Language school in São Paulo, Brazil. After a few years developing courses and teaching in language schools, I transferred to an American school where I taught English Language Arts to high school students. I then spent four years tutoring English learners. Currently, I live in the northwestern region of the United States, and I teach literature and writing to high school seniors.
I Love Tutoring Because
I love learning. And when I tutor, I get a front row seat to some of the best learning that takes place. It is transformational when a student finally "gets it," and I am fulfilled because I got to be part of that journey.
