Career Experience
My name is Miranda. I began tutoring in college helping nurses and teachers pass their mathematical exams. I enjoyed the work with my peers and began teaching. I taught high school math at an alternative learning setting for 1 year allowing me to have experience with different kinds of educational programs. I then began teaching at a traditional high school where I taught for 11 years. In that time, I taught Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, Math 1/2/3, Math Topics, Trigonometry, and PreCalc. I also tutored during the day giving students one on one attention as well as the full classroom experience.
I Love Tutoring Because
I have a love for math. I enjoy allowing others to find that love too. I know math can be challenging and facing challenges can be hard but when I see people understanding something they have not understood before I light up! I want to bring the joy of understanding math to everyone and tutoring is an amazing way to do it.
