Career Experience

I began my career in the late 1980s, teaching high school English, working with school drama programs, and mentoring creative writing students. Also, I taught college reading and writing courses; I additionally tutored in the writing center and was in charge of developing the archives. My experiences also included online teaching and tutoring.

I Love Tutoring Because

I have the privilege of guiding and mentoring writers, encouraging them to achieve their goals and find their "writer's voices." Meeting people and reading their writing gives me so many opportunities to learn about the interests of others.
