Career Experience

During college, I spent a year as a software engineering intern, working on modifying algorithms to be more efficient in a niche programming language we were using. I then worked for the same company for a year as a software engineer.

I Love Tutoring Because

it allows me to get a deeper knowledge of math by presenting ideas in ways other than how it was taught to me. I love getting to know students' learning styles and tailoring my explanations specifically to how they learn and process information the best.

Ian G found an error in my work concerning drawing a Hasse diagram where the elements were a set of numbers, and x must divide evenly into y. Also x must be greater than or equal to y. Then he helped me verify my work on proving a relation was an equivalance relation and defining its partition. Great tutor!
