Career Experience
The majority of my work experience is in tutoring, beginning as a student tutor and going on to direct the writing lab at the college where I taught composition, grammar and literature. From the time of Covid, I have tutored online, mostly working with high school and college-level writers.
I Love Tutoring Because
. . . through tutoring, I can see real learning take place, something that is not always evident in a crowded classroom. I genuinely enjoy answering questions about writing and grammar--even questions that stump me at first--and I love having the focus and time to make sure students understand and can use the lessons.
