Career Experience
I am currently a graduate student, and my favorite experience during my undergraduate career was in writing, proofreading, and editing essays and research papers. I also currently work as a research assistant for two projects: one in which I am responsible for editing essays on literature and philosophy, and another in which I help to write, edit and format portions of a Latin textbook as it is being written.
I Love Tutoring Because
helping a student go from indecision and frustration over the state of their essays to confidence and a positive approach to their subject is such a joy to see. Essay writing can be challenging when you feel that you just don't know what to say about your topic in a clear and interesting way. I have many techniques that can help students find their voices and put their thoughts down on paper as well as fine tune what they have already written into a polished finished product.
