Career Experience

I'm a biologist currently doing my master's. I specialize in ecophysiology with a strong background in biochemistry and developmental biology. I mostly work with everything related to oxidative stress, metabolism (mytochondrial and respiratory) and how it relates to animal plasticity; as such, I ask an ecological question, and I use numerous tools like biochemistry and molecular biology to answer it.

I Love Tutoring Because

I love teaching and sharing knowledge; it is one of the cornerstones in human communities and has been since the beginning. Helping the next generation to become great is in itself a great service to society and to the individual. That said, it is also gratifying to help someone who is not having a great time, and so like Socrates said, "Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle."

This is a great service and it's incredible that this is free to students. I spend about an hour studying with one of the tutors: Tomas J I think. He was very good and seemed like an expert in the field. Very polite and informative. 8/10. One thing they could improved upon is replying a little faster. Occasionally it would take up to 3 minutes for a reply and I wondered if we got disconnected or something. One time he told me that he would be right back so that was nice that he let me know. I love this service and would 100% recommend it to people wanting professional tutoring for no extra costs.
