Career Experience
I spent the past year with my college's Student Government Association as a student representative and a secretary to the team, which allowed me to hone my leadership abilities and advocate for student issues on campus, so I have a lot of experience working with students and helping them with their classroom issues. Additionally, in my time as a secretary, I spent a lot of time working on keeping papers organized, writing logs of each meeting and presentation, and working on research papers (which studied how we can get students to want to be active on campus in a post-covid society).
I Love Tutoring Because
I believe it's important to give others a chance to recognize how to grow and develop skills that will help them in the future! At the moment, there has been a decline in literacy rates among our younger generation, and as someone who has always been passionate about English as a subject, it breaks my heart to see a downfall in appreciation for the subject. Reading is fundamental to understanding the world around us, and I want to contribute to helping others comprehend what we're seeing on our screens and how to analyze it for their own interpretations.
