Career Experience

I've tutored all sections of the ACT, SAT, and other subjects for over ten years and logged over 8,000 tutoring hours and 750 five-star ratings. Other subjects I tutor: SHSAT, SSAT, statistics, research paper writing, geometry, college essay writing, Algebra I & II, English, study skills, probability, and have helped students with a wide range of learning disabilities.

I Love Tutoring Because

I love the challenge of helping people understand new ideas and enjoy making it fun for them. Getting to know new people and helping them on their journey is an unbelievably rewarding experience. I also like the flexibility that it gives me to pursue my other interests, including writing and surfing.

So we lost connection during the questioning when I converted to the assignment page to discuss what I needed help with. I have attempted this three times and every time I make it to this portion of the tutoring I wind up getting disconnected

I was frustrated at first because I couldn't activate my microphone and camera. It would be appreciated if the website directed you to share your camera/microphone to ensure no time is wasted during the session. I felt ill prepared for this session but the tutor (Chris A) was patient with me and reassured me that statistics is certainly difficult. Overall I walked away having learned something.
