Career Experience
I have worked as both an online and an in-person English tutor with my college for two years, and I won the English Paper of the Year Award at my college in 2023. I also have three summers of experience teaching literary concepts as a camp counselor to children ages 6-15.
I Love Tutoring Because
I love helping students learn concepts they had previously struggled to grasp and encouraging them to work diligently in their academic studies. After I graduate, I want to pursue teaching English at a private school, exploring ways to reignite a passion for English in students and to present it as more than just reading books or writing a paper, but as learning more about the past, the present, and the implications for the future through literature.
