I recently retired after 35 years of teaching college chemistry and still teach part-time. I taught almost every course in the undergraduate chemistry curriculum at one time or another but have taught mostly General Chemistry and Organic Chemistry. I recently celebrated my tenth anniversary of tutoring with Tutor.com. A few years ago, I began conducting interviews of prospective tutors, as well as reviewing the applicant interviews conducted by others. I have also served as Tutor.com Subject Matter Expert.

I Love Tutoring Because

I love working with students to find the ways they can understand best. I like to use everyday analogies to help make chemistry concepts easier. My favorite part is that moment when the student really "gets it."
