Career Experience
I was a public school teacher until I retired in 2010. During that time I was active in many organizations which helped to develop curriculum standards on state and local levels. As I looked forward to retirement several years ago, I realized I would miss the experiences of a lifetime working with students teaching them mathematics. I have been tutoring since then online.
I Love Tutoring Because
Tutoring online allows me to continue to do what I love; helping students of mathematics. I am constantly amazed with the technology which allows me to work with students all over the country while never leaving home! When a student "gets it" after struggling and the excitement they feel when they understand a concept is a thrill for me as well as the student.
