Tutoring is a great occupation. I tutored a few students when I was in high school. I tutored in a college lab for more than four years, and I have been tutoring neighborhood students ever since. I worked several years for a computer software company doing programming, training, customer service, documentation, and quality assurance, but I still tutored students during that time.

I Love Tutoring Because

Education is important. Knowledge is a tool that can be used, not just in the immediate course of study, but it can help an individual throughout life. Problem solving skills can be used in situations beyond the classroom. Tutoring one-on-one provides custom-tailored help for students.

After reworking the same problem over and over and getting the same answer which wasn't one of the given options, I was very confused. I've never used this service before but at 2:00am when I saw the 24hr tutor button, I thought why not. Miss Lynette, although being unfamiliar with Mayan Mathematics, took the time to learn with me and solve the problem herself. After learning we both got the same answer, I e-mailed my teacher (hopefully she doesn't have e-mail notifications on). Now, we cross our fingers there was a mistake. :)
