I did a major in international business. I've had the chance to take many math courses and I've experienced the way math is connected to the field of finance and economics.

I Love Tutoring Because

I get such a good feeling when the student is able to speak back to me in math mode. I love the way it all looks abstract at first, but with some explanation, everything can become much more manageable for the student.

My tutor was great! My only feedback would be to let the student work through the problem and guide them. We were working on derivative and he would start to write out the derivative versus letting me do it and then guiding me when I got stuck or started to wander astray. We did some great work together and I have a better understanding of where I was getting hung up.
