I wasn't able to give a good definition of acceleration so my tutor assumed I didn't know any basic terms which did hurt my feelings and he lectured me kind of insinuating ill fail or struggle in this course when yes I need to make sure I put in an extra effort so that I have plenty of time to make sure I'm able to comprehend the material I don't think he meant to come off so strong but it did hurt my feelings I get where he was coming from and am able to shrug it off because I know my situation and that its not like what he is envisioning so tutors should leave the counseling to the student advisors especially sense I only get an allotted amount of tutoring time don't assume I'm wasting your time and trying to get you to just outright do my work because the books don't break certain things down enough I just felt that he thought I didn't try on my own to understand before coming to a tutor when I did I needed help digesting this concept I have ADD so I need more detail sometimes but I promise you I'm not lazy sorry for making you read such a long comment I just think tutors shouldn't judge students when they need some one to hold there hand through questions and me knowing I'm going to need all the help I can get didn't appreciate being given extra non question related advice during the tutoring session(even though I'm sure his intentions where good) to his defense he was very knowledgeable and I do appreciate his time for the most part

Joaquin was extremely helpful. He worked with me on my written assignment and pointed out some errors. He walked me through the correct way to write them and I learned more about the feminine from him. Super helpful!

I think there really needs to be a Zoom option for students to visually see their tutors and help guide them to the correct answers.

I didnt feel stupid for asking questions, and i felt free to ask as many questions as i needed
