Career Experience
I have been tutoring high school and university mathematics, physics, chemistry and writing for about five years. I excelled in all academic subjects throughout high school and university, and also ran peer tutoring workshops for my classmates. I was in the military for 5 years while paying my way through university, where I took courses in a broad array of interesting subjects, including physics, philosophy, logic and debate, psychology, and creative writing. I graduated with a technical degree (ROV Pilot/Technician diploma) in piloting and maintenance of remotely operated offshore underwater robots (ROVs) and took a job with one of the industry leading developers of ROV flight simulator software as a pilot, software tester and fidelity assurance (QA and technical documentation).
I Love Tutoring Because
I am very passionate about the subject matter and knowledge in general; I am a deep thinker who appreciates both the thematic elements of writing and philosophy as well as the elegance of how the universe operates on the most fundamental levels. I love to share that knowledge with others in a way that gets them as engaged and interested in the concepts as I am!
