I taught high school math for over 20 years, 11 years in the United States and 9 years in other countries. Tutoring is a natural offshoot of teaching math. From friends of friends to children of teachers, people seem to always be looking for a good tutoring situation. This is why I came to Tutor.com. Students can take charge of their questions and speak with a tutor who respects their ideas.

I Love Tutoring Because

students are the best teachers. Students continually teach me new ways to find solutions to common problems. They are so creative and have a fresh way of looking at math. There are many different ways that students can find when they are looking for an answer. I learn something from nearly every session. I like the students who have created and can explain their own methods.

Unfortunately, the time goes by too quickly for students like myself starting fresh I usually only get to go through 2-3 problems as I understand. I dont feel 1hr is enough. and I dont like to continue switching tutors every hour. If we are allowed to get back for more time then they should just allow up to the tutor to continue with the same student.

I really l💖ve Mrs judy! She took her time with me even when I had caught the concept and lost it again, Mrs Judy took her time too help me restore and store the information and now It clicks like hairclips!
