Jose is a wonderful and informative tutor to work with. He is patient by giving examples to understand the fundamental concept as opposed to walking me through the steps on how to come to the conclusion for one individual data set or question. He is concerned about understanding the concept rather than the conclusion of a singular question. I would highly recommend to others as well as a preferred tutor to work with. Jose has helped me on multiple equations and at the end of each session I learn something new by his thorough explanations, visual examples, and by asking questions to ensure I am able to complete the given task on my own. When I feel dumb, he encourages that my concerns and are valid. He does not get frustrated when I give the wrong answer until I reach the final and correct conclusion within the data set provided.

The tutor was frustrated that I did not explain it well even though I got the question right. He also demonstrated a wrong way to get an answer unnecessarily to prove a point, which took up too much time of the session that could've been spent on another problem.There might've been some miscommunication on my end but he kept repeating the same thing I said and disagreed even though I thought we were in agreeance with each other and got the same answer.
