Career Experience
I have always loved writing and have taught English at a community college for many years. I love teaching students how to write well! Over the years, I have taught Basic English, Composition 1 and 2, literature courses, and technical writing. I have also worked as a technical writer in advertising, for the petroleum industry, for a software company, and for NASA. Writing for NASA was my favorite job because I wrote manuals and trained astronauts.
I Love Tutoring Because
I love working closely with students to help them improve their writing! I have likely taught the classes many students are taking, so I know what their teachers are looking for. I also love to see students grow as writers and become more confident about their writing.
