Career Experience
I worked 12 years at a credit union, mostly in the lending department. In 2012, I decided to pursue my passion for education and started working in higher education for an online university. I was an academic advisor and counselor for 6 years before I became a manager in the Financial Aid Department. I am currently managing a knowledge management website for the Financial Aid Department.
I Love Tutoring Because
I have a passion for education. I love helping learn and be successful. As an academic advisor, I was able to help provide tips on time management, and I would help others understand the coursework in various classes. Tutoring allows me to help others with any questions they have in subjects I enjoy talking about. I hope to inspire others to have the same excitement about education that I have.
