Career Experience

Throughout my time as an undergraduate student, I have worked as a tutor/counselor for middle school and high school students in various topics through a program that takes place at my university. During the weekdays, I worked in an office grading assignments, organizing rosters, and creating lesson plans to ensure the program operated efficiently. I cooperated with a diverse team of 12 tutor counselors and program administrators to design curricula and carry out various lessons in physics, trigonometry, calculus, biology, and chemistry. Additionally, I worked with two other mentors to supervise 20 high school students in a college preparatory course as well as internship training course. As a senior, I have taken all of my general education classes as well as many upper-level math/physics courses.

I Love Tutoring Because

helping students understand concepts and feel accomplished with themselves is a very rewarding experience. I enjoy utilizing the knowledge I have acquired over the course of my life in school and just in general to further the academic pursuits of students. To me, knowledge is most valuable when it can be used to help others and advance learning.
