Career Experience

I have worked as an actuary as well as a data scientist at various insurance and IT companies. I have also worked as a graduate teaching assistant where I lectured on math and statistics. While working full time, I have also tutored high school students on a part-time basis preparing for math section of SAT. My areas of expertise include Discrete math, Mid-level math, Competitive math and SAT math.

I Love Tutoring Because

during my high school days, as I was explaining the difficult concepts in math to my classmates and close friends, I developed a keen sense of fulfillment and wonder. Eventually teaching math has turned into a passionate hobby of mine where I used to take great pleasure in helping my students or friends who needed help with anything related to math. I realized I was good at guiding the students in the right path and enjoyed the process of de-mystifying hard math problems as well as explaining fundamental concepts behind any math problem.

He is by far my favorite tutor. He breaks things down in a series of logical steps and makes sure you have a solid understanding of the material before diving into the content. He uses further examples to test your knowledge and I leave the sessions more confident and with a FULL understanding of the material discussed. 10/10 recommend. He is a wonderful tutor. discrete math is incredbly difficult to get tutor help for me. having to text each equation function by copying and pasting into a chat then not being able to copy what I previously wrote made me mess up a lot. The tutor was great it was just difficult for me to show my work and/or address my problems because of my inability to type the characters for the class
