Very helpful and let me know I was on the right track for my assignment. I was just over thinking it.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Mark as my tutor for a lesson on developing thesis statements for literary analysis. I can confidently say that Mark is an exemplary and insightful tutor who truly went above and beyond to help me understand this complex topic. From the moment we began our session, Mark was patient, engaging, and enthusiastic. He clearly explained each step of the process and made sure to check in with me regularly to make sure I was following along. He also provided helpful examples and walked me through the process of constructing a strong thesis statement, breaking down each element so that it was easy for me to understand. One thing that really impressed me about Mark was his ability to anticipate my questions and concerns. It is more helpful to highlight stuff and make notes on the side but this works too. It just makes it cumbersome to edit after.

The format mark used is not helpful. I like when they simply highligh my mistakes and make comments on the margins. sending our chat back to me is not helpful and it takes me ten times longer to edit my paper after the session.
