Career Experience
During my time in college I was a teaching assistant for ornithology and a tutor for biology. I have worked as a field assistant for several research projects including habitat preference in New Zealand falcons and movement ecology in king cobras. I am currently a PhD candidate and have been a teaching assistant for introductory biology for three years.
I Love Tutoring Because
one of the most important aspects of science is being able to effectively communicate difficult concepts to a wide range of people. Helping students to understand science concepts is something I'm really passionate about. I try to always be improving my teaching and communication methods, and working one on one with students allows me to constantly improve, which helps both me and the students I'm working with.
