Career Experience
I am a retired Air Force pilot with a diverse experience base and an educational background in a variety of subjects. A common thread throughout my career is a natural inclination towards teaching and mentoring. Most recently, I enjoyed informally tutoring high school students due to the educational uncertainties brought on by the Covid-19 pandemic, so decided to join the Tutor.com team.
I Love Tutoring Because
I enjoy the one-on-one between a tutor and student because I can tailor my approach to their needs. It also becomes more of a conversation than a traditional classroom approach. I enjoy leading the student to working through concepts and eventually working independently.
