Career Experience
I have been blessed with a variety of teaching experiences since graduating from college. I have taught first grade, been an elementary teacher's assistant, helped an adult with special needs work on accomplishing her personal goals, and homeschooled my own children. Every different position has given me new insight into the similarities and differences we all share as we learn. This broad range of students has also given me exposure to implementing curriculum across many grade levels and subjects. Most recently, I have tutored Chinese students in English as a Foreign Language. This has allowed me to venture into the virtual world with my love of teaching. Now I am hooked! I can't wait to virtually help my future students and am looking forward to working with you and your child!
I Love Tutoring Because
I delight in meeting new people and helping them. I am also a nerd! Part of my purpose in life is passing on my love for content to students, even if it is the subject they loathe or just don't jive with. If I can give them even a remotely positive experience, or just that little extra help they need, I have done my job!
