Career Experience

As a senior in high school, I began tutoring math at a local community college. There I tutored subjects ranging from algebra to calculus. While a college student myself, I was frequently given the opportunity to help friends and classmates with math homework. Also at that time my brother was learning high school algebra, for which I was often called to help.

I Love Tutoring Because

since childhood, I've had a passion for mathematics, and I love sharing that passion with other people. Watching people grapple with and come to understand how math works and what it really means is almost as much fun as learning it myself. While I enjoy tutoring any subject a student might seek help for, I have a particular affinity for geometry, calculus, and any subject based on graphs and visuals. I believe that being able to see what's happening is the best route to truly comprehending math.
