Career Experience
I have enjoyed and continue to enjoy throughout my academic career and beyond a plethora of opportunities to expand the power of geospatial technologies and subjects in the Earth sciences to a diverse audience. From a young age, I enjoyed chances to bring abstract astronomical concepts to laypeople’s level through astronomy outreaches and education on the vastness of space and our place in the universe. I joined an astronomy club where I continued this passion for teaching students and visitors alike on the celestial wonders. I extended my outreach beyond understanding of our universe and into other disciplines of Earth science like GIS. I volunteer as an educator, teaching and walking students through the use and usefulness of GIS tools to understand and address pressing geospatial issues and anomalies on the ground.
I Love Tutoring Because
tutoring is an outlet through which I, as both a learner as well as a teacher, can carry forth this earnestness and enthusiasm to educate and break complex topics down to the best of my abilities. Outreaching and assisting learners while putting efforts to place myself in their shoes with empathy has been and hopefully continues to be the basis for which I can be able to help learners succeed in their academic endeavors.
