Career Experience

I started my nursing career 12 years ago as a bedside nurse on a progressive, post-op, telemetry unit at a local hospital near my home. Five years later, I began working for another hospital system in town as an RN on their in-house float team, moving between the system's three different inpatient facilities. I have held this position for the past 8 years, working as a bedside nurse, lending my time and expertise to a variety of units including PCU, Med/Surg/Tele, endoscopy, PACU, and post op. I also spend a portion of my summers as a camp nurse at a camp in New England, keeping the staff, counselors and campers safe and healthy to enjoy their camp experience.

I Love Tutoring Because

I enjoy helping others gain knowledge and understanding of a topic/subject. Being able to help another person gain insight on a topic that has been challenging them is rewarding to me.

This is the first time I have used this service being a third year college student and I wish I knew about it sooner! This is an excellent resource when teachers do not email back when you ask questions. It does take extra time replying to messages versus talking on a zoom call. Overall, this worked out well for me!
