I have two years' experience working as a tutor at my community college where I helped my fellow students learn the basic and intermediate concepts that form the building blocks of the Spanish language. I also helped with general English writing, especially essays, and am happy to help proofread, get ideas going, or whatever other help may be needed to get a paper written. I was later an eMentor at my second college, helping students create academic portfolios that present a synthesis of everything they learned.

I Love Tutoring Because

no matter how good a teacher is, there will always be times that students need extra help with their work. It is extremely rewarding to be there to bridge the gap between students and their academic success, and to spread a bit of one’s love for the subject at the same time.

I loved my tutor. He always asked about what I feel I need help on the most and always made sure to ask me if I liked his recommendations or not which made me feel a lot better about myself and my decisions along the way. Overall, it was a really good first time experience and it gives me relief to know that there is something like this to help students.

This tutor was absolutely amazing. He spent time with me highlighting sections of my essay and working on each point. He gave me ideas to improve upon the work and was patient when i didn't understand something. He improved upon my essay improving flow and readability. He addressed grammar issues and content. He was the best tutor i had on this platform.
