Career Experience
I have worked as a substitute teacher, an ESL instructor, a case worker, and also a camp counselor/director. I love helping learners achieve their goals and motivating future experts of society to pursue their dreams. Discovering what you love and actively participating in your own academic journey is a wonderful gift that students should be encouraged to embrace and celebrate, and I love being a part of that experience as a mentor.
I Love Tutoring Because
I am a natural leader with a can-do attitude and a never give up mentality. There are so many obstacles that have disrupted my own academic career throughout the years, and I've learned that school is something you just have to appreciate and get as much out of as you can while allowing those obstacles to shape you and motivate you to try harder. Life is always going to hit you with little mole hills and sometimes great mountains that are going to make your dreams seem impossible and out of reach, but nothing is insurmountable when you face things head on and confront challenges realistically. The best thing about learning is getting to know who you are and being surrounded by a positive group of peers and learning facilitators who are always there to solve problems and listen actively to what you need and want from your academic community. Mostly, I love the smiles and warm faces! :)
