I have a PhD in English, with a focus on rhetoric and writing. I have 10 years teaching English at the college level, and I most enjoy helping students who either "hate writing" or think that they're "bad at writing."

I Love Tutoring Because

I love tutoring because no classroom experience is a substitute for the one-on-one interaction that tutoring allows. I enjoy getting to know my students on a personal level, as I fundamentally believe that learning is most effective when it's personal.

I loved this specific tutor. She was super nice and patient and understanding. She helped me get my assignment done in perfect timing. Instead of her giving answers, she really helped me develop a better meaning of my assignment and dig deeper. She was also super encouraging and complimented my work! :)
