Career Experience

I have been tutoring for over 6 years in a variety of subjects. I have a passion for math and science, but I have also worked with students in art, history and English. I recently won a national grant to design and deliver a course introducing engineering and computer science for girls. I taught the year long course to 15 middle school girls and loved seeing their excitement that engineering can be fun!

I Love Tutoring Because

when I was struggling in tough classes and felt discouraged, my tutors helped me to understand concepts in ways that my teachers did not. They helped me find my passion for academics and become a better student. I hope to do the same with the students that I tutor!
