Career Experience

As a Systems Development Engineer for the U.S. Air Force, I used math just about everyday, in many ways. From simple arithmetic to the more advanced subjects, math is the foundation for turning whiteboard drawings into reality.

I Love Tutoring Because

math is really nothing to be afraid of or hated. We use math in everyday life, even when we're having fun enjoying our favorite pastimes (sports, hobbies...you name it). I enjoy seeing "the light come on" when a student realizes they just mastered a new concept.

I tend to overthink problems and need clarification because it’s hard for me to learn things like “normal.” This is my first time using Tutor.com, and I’ll probably use it again! The tutor was friendly and the answers and clarification made it easier to understand. This is cool!!
