Career Experience
For the past 3 years I've been working on my PhD in physics. My research area involves modeling the turbulent galactic magnetic field in an effort to understand its impact on ultra high energy cosmic ray deflections. I've been a student and educator in higher education for the past 7 years. While an undergraduate I assisted with running physics labs and grading lab reports. When I started my graduate program I also taught a lab course for a year, and recently I am teaching again, part time. I've been tutoring with tutor.com since December of 2011.
I Love Tutoring Because
It is very gratifying to help students break a problem down to its essential elements, allowing them to see the raw concepts at work which is usually when the light bulb goes off. The practice of transforming confusion to understanding is very addictive indeed.
