Career Experience

I worked for 37 years in the Naval Reactors program starting as a nuclear engineer and finishing my career as the Director of Reactor Materials. I was involved in the design, test, build, maintain and decommission nuclear power plants used in US Navy aircraft carriers. I applied the science and math learned in college and thereafter to the solutions of real-world engineering problems.

I Love Tutoring Because

I want to help students appreciate the beauty of science and math and to show them how to reach that Aha! moment when confronted with concepts or problems that seem impenetrable and unsolvable.
