Career Experience
I've been teaching English writing and literature for 25 years. Between teaching upper and lower division courses in creative writing, critical theory, and composition, I published several stories and poems in reputable literary journals. Having taught in five different universities, I have encountered a wide variety of students at all levels. I feel confident that I can approach your writing with an eye toward helping you with your writing success.
I Love Tutoring Because
of the satisfaction I receive from helping students succeed at their studies. The "light bulb" moment, when you know that a student "gets it," is very rewarding. I'm always struck by the positive effect tutoring has on students, and I feel as though I'm making a contribution to their success and hopefully in their lives.
