Career Experience
I started out by volunteering to serve a two-year overseas tour in the United States Army immediately after high school. After successfully completing my tour of duty, I returned home and completed college and procured my Juris Doctorate. I spent the last 25 years practicing law in both the private and public sectors. In the private sector, I worked as a partner in a large firm representing business clients with mergers, acquisitions, employment law issues, contract drafting, and business litigation. I also worked in the public sector as a special prosecutor assigned to handle a variety of felony criminal cases. I have conducted jury trials and have argued many cases before virtually all of the state and federal appellate courts in Wisconsin, as well as Illinois. Best of all, throughout my career, I have had the opportunity and pleasure to teach and tutor law, career development, math and other subjects to a variety of ages from elementary school through college and graduate school.
I Love Tutoring Because
helping a student solve a problem or master a topic is an amazing feeling for both of us. Knowledge is confidence and working together with students to assist them not only in solving the problem but also mastering techniques that will help them solve future problems is beyond rewarding. I was helped by several thoughtful teachers, professors and professionals throughout my education and career, and now paying that forward is a pleasure.
