I have a PhD in engineering and have been a math tutor for over 15 years. I have worked at tutoring centers and taught at private schools as well as at the college level. I have tutored all levels of high school math including math for test prep and competition math.

Tutoring allows me to provide a personalized approach to learning. I take the time to understand the unique needs and learning styles of my students, and I tailor the session accordingly.

Not only was my tutor very very patient with me she was also very kind and very helpful not only did she help me understand the system and how to upload my own pictures and help me learn the materials that are provided but she also assisted Me by providing multiple examples on how to complete the problem I had trouble with and not wants to she dismiss any of the hardships I had she helped me work through each and every one of them.

The tutor made me very frustrated and for one problem told me I was wrong and had me do longer steps than necessary. Didn't explain it to me very well and for me it made it very confusing because she just kept repeating what she had said earlier. I know I struggle with math but it was way longer than necessary.
