Career Experience

I have years of hands-on research experience in the sciences, especially in ecology and entomology. I have also served as a teaching assistant in other science disciplines, such as in microbiology. With my minor in English, I have focused on poetry, literary analysis, and technical writing. Finally, I am also a recently published scientific author, with two more manuscripts being prepared for publication this year.

I Love Tutoring Because

anyone can excel at a given subject or skill. The journey to master that subject or skill, however, is different for everyone. As a tutor, I will help in making each student's journey a little easier. It's rewarding to see how students can fall in love with a subject once they're able to fully understand it.

Rebecca M. is a great tutor. I had to be transferred because the previous tutor could not help me. She guided me right into the answers. She asked questions to help me figure out the answers on my own. I wasn't left feeling like i had to get someone else to do my work. She is great!
