Career Experience

I previously held a position at a non-profit organization in New York that strives to expand journalism programs across the public school system. At the organization, I was responsible for developing a student journalism handbook that prepared students for leadership roles at their school newspapers. In addition, I also worked directly with local teachers to understand what would benefit their journalism classes. I also held a position as an educational mentor. I assisted high school students with a curriculum based on entrepreneurship.

I Love Tutoring Because

it offers both the tutor and the student a tremendous learning experience. Through tutoring, I have the opportunity to directly observe students' interests, curiosity, and improvements. I also get the chance to be creative, effective, and efficient by getting feedback directly from students.
