Career Experience

I worked for my college for two academic years mentoring freshmen from a limited-income and/or first-generation background, which really taught me how to make others feel welcome and how to interact with others in a professional yet empathetic manner. My time as an orientation leader also grew my passion for helping others. In addition to that, I majored in history, so I know how instrumental education has been and continues to be in transforming societies. I also did general transcription for four months in 2021, which tested and strengthened my ability to quickly learn skills and complete detail-oriented tasks.

I Love Tutoring Because

I love academics, explaining complex subject matter, helping others, and seeing people achieve their goals!

I say that my tutor did a very good job on some parts, but I was confused as on certain areas of my essay it already followed by tutor's advice, like the hanging indent or the "It's cold." examples.
