I have been a certified English Language Arts teacher for over 20 years at the middle school and high school levels. Additionally, I have experience tutoring essay writing at the college level, and I have helped students succeed and pass standardized tests for both state and college preparation.
I Love Tutoring Because
It allows me to help each and every student by meeting them at their academic level and at the same time challenge their skills. Tutoring can be a way to help students achieve their best, which ultimately builds confidence, and I love being a part of that. Tutoring also allows me to differentiate and individualize instruction based on each student's particular needs. Focusing on each student in such a way is a rewarding experience.
