After college I worked in clinical research for several years, where I picked up additional career skills like data analytics and computer programming. I now work primarily as a database engineer and data scientist, in addition to tutoring.
I Love Tutoring Because
Tutoring is a great way to keep yourself involved in subjects where you have knowledge and experience to contribute. As a tutor, I get to revisit material that I worked very hard to learn but did not end up using for my own career. Also, I have gained a lot of new skills and experience working in clinical research, and I often get to share some of my professional knowledge. The best thing about being a tutor is that teaching others is always beneficial to everyone, and it is a very rewarding experience.
