I've been an ACT tutor for 2 years now, but I teach all sorts of things besides standardized tests. My favorite subject to teach by far is math. I enjoy what I do and plan to continue to teach in the future.

I enjoy learning new things, and I love to pass that knowledge on to other people. It's rewarding watching people learn new things and improve.

While I do appreciate the fact that these sessions are offered by the school and I love my tutor. It is a bit challenging that they are required weekly by a certain deadline. Finite math tutors on this platform have to be scheduled 2 days in advance which isn't always feasible with such a heavy workload and rigorous school schedule. I would suggest they only require it on a bi-weekly basis and that finite math tutors were more accessible. It would also be helpful if the actual math teachers of the university provided video lectures on canvas showcasing how to work out the problems and utilizing the formulas that we won't have to rely so heavily on the tutors to teach us the new us the new information before we get to our tutoring session. That way can just focus on fine-tuning.
