Since starting with Tutor.com, I have dedicated myself to engaging with students to help them grow as writers. In middle school, I was very fortunate to have someone lay out the core outline of an essay. While my writing has evolved during the many years since, this defining moment is what inspires me to connect with students and help them grow. My main tutoring areas of expertise are writing, student success, resume and career help, and English. In addition, I have some subject-level knowledge in the social science fields of psychology, criminology/criminal Justice, and political science & the law. I am deeply committed to helping students succeed.

I value the importance of learning and understanding. I am inspired by the philosophy of one of my former professors, which is, "Thinking is re-thinking. Writing is re-writing. Excellence is never a first try; it is an initial effort ground to a sharp point."
