Career Experience
In 2018, I founded my consulting and innovation firm. I was immediately hired as a consultant working with an underwater surveying firm for technical development and advising for underwater sonar structural surveying and point cloud data analytics. I continued on with this client as the primary company focus for a year, after which a partner, a physicist with decades of experience in numerous fields, joined my firm in late 2019. From that point forward, my firm has focused its efforts on developing and commercializing new technologies. Current innovations include: a thin-film coating solution for imaging acoustically inert underwater structures, a cheap and accessible solar energy solution, a partnership for a fully autonomous sediment management system, a self reporting smart net structure for usage across aquatic and marine industries, and new hydropower generation technologies.
I Love Tutoring Because
Tutoring provides me an opportunity to share my expertise in a breadth of science, engineering, and technology fields with new students; hopefully, my lessons will provide inspiration and motivation to some of these students to pursue careers in these fields. Tutoring is also a great opportunity for me to maintain my knowledge and skills in areas of expertise which I don't tend to utilize with as much frequency as others.
