Career Experience
After college, I worked as a copywriter and eventually became creative director at a radio station which kept my writing and editing skills sharp. When I had to choose a second career, teaching was my first and only consideration. I obtained licensure and began teaching seventh and eighth grade English in the fall of 2006. Today, I remain an English teacher in the same district, but now my classroom is at the high school where I teach juniors of all levels as well as seniors taking AP Literature & Composition.
